nice review nothing but praise for this watch but whats the scam that rolex has stated 40mm did you measure the case between 2 and 8 and have you contacted rolex and asked them how they got 40mm
Thanks. I have never ever seen a watch description mean 2 to 8 o'clock when indicating case size... and neither does Rolex mean this. Neither does this watch measure 40mm when you measure in that odd dimension. See various other comments for discussion on this.

Other colours stand out more especially if the bezel is swapped out for a completely contrasting one the pink bezel again the grey watch would look fantastic or even the Aqua green bezel for a splash of couloir to make it stand out

If I had something like a Rolex 1601 or a 60s vintage automatic, then yes, I would keep it on a watch winder, because they didn't have a quickset date. Also if it were COSC or METAS certified, I might so I could let that sweet timekeeping do its thing, but otherwise these things are a waste of money.

I have a different watch for every day of the week and no winder because a winder will just wear out my watches that much more quickly, because a mechanical watch is after all a machine and machines are wearing out while they are running. Right? Restarting a watch is no problem. I had a winder once but when it stopped working, I never bothered to replace it. Couldn't think why I should.

I leave my watches in the gun safe. I think if I keep them running they are wearing the gears and what not. Maybe I need a cheap one for when I want to wear one of the nice ones during the weekend and my Seiko daily wont go out of wind. 🧐

Leaving a watch on a watch winder is like keeping your running when your not driving it. Of course, watches with multiple complications are an exception. That said, I have one, but I only use it for the next days watch in order the movement can settle down.

Do not buy from Agelocer! I requested to cancel an order I made with them because I wanted to get another of watch from them instead. They agreed to cancel the order and refund me. Except that they never refunded me, stopped responding to my email and never sent the original order!!!! They kept my money!!!

I have a PRG 60 and now I bought a PRW 6000 and PRW 6900Y L-5. The 60 is very chunky and hard to read. The 6000 is similar to your watch. I like it a lot. The 6900Y is in my opinion gimmicky in looks, but for some reason it works. Love the last too, but all three are great watches.

@@PerthWAtch Every feature is made to be significant to the bushcraft world. The corners are made to imply the edge of an ax, the small indicator at the 10 o’clock position is a bush knife, the face is textured to look like a cast iron Dutch oven, the secondhand colors are a flame progression. The leather strap is spark resistant. Like I said, gimmicky but I like it.

Thanks for the comparison! I got mine in 2008, pretty much follow the original design. The dial has stealthy wave lines, and shows different patterns when viewing in different angle. I don't think the ceramic treatment is a good move. It made the watch bulkier for no good reason, and doesn't even look good on the early one. Even the latest is about as good as the original (NOT the dial) but definitely not better. With the price change so dramatically, I don't think I will buy another new Omega any more. Breguet from the same group offers much more history, class and timelessness.

To be honest given today’s fake standards that’s actually a pretty 💩 fake. They have gotten even closer since this comparisons. Kinda wish BR started doing display case backs to make things easier to tell apart.

Should have led with the chronohraph issue. I have one. Got it on sale for $40, and at that price I felt it was worth keeping. Looks good from a distance. The stock bracelet is absolute rubbish.
